Many anime and novel fans are worried on what will come become of the gameplay graphics of the drama adaptation of the hit gaming series, The Kings Avatar 全职高手. The upcoming drama dropped its first teaser which shows a bit of its in-game visuals.
Most of the teaser shows out-of-game scenes of Ye Xiu and his new team, Team Happy, competing with other teams, in which Ye Xiu (Yang Yang) narrates: Glory is their world, actually I am just one of them.
Yang Yang previously starred on a similar gaming-genre drama, Love O2O aka Just One Smile is Very Alluring. Though its in-game graphics were kinda of unimpressive, it's a little understandable because the series heavily leans on romance, meanwhile, The King's Avatar is more of hardcore gaming.
The last few seconds of the teaser shows some of the game scenes. Though it looks like it's pure CGI, it does not look that bad. I just hope they won't skimp on the budget and the quality will be maintained for the whole series.
